SOLAR APPLICATIONS
Solar energy from Hydronic solar panels on the roof can be used to heat your home. Exquisite Heat controls can make it happen.
Exquisite Heat can keep the boiler from firing as long as the boiler water is at an optimal temperature to heat the house. If the temperature in the solar storage facility is equal or above the return water temperature needed for the home heating system the solar can be used to preheat the return water from the heating system. This is accomplished with Exquisite Heat and a heat exchanger fitted between the solar system and the heating return water. Should the solar BTU (British Thermal Units "heat") supply become insufficient then the heating plant can replace the solar BTU supply.
The benefit is the reduction of fuel used to heat the house during moderate temperatures taking heat from the structure, (chilly evenings). This works well during the daytime reducing the need for fuel for heat in the home.
